Austrian Adventure

Austria hotels ski hotel holidays

If one would have been to Austria, I’m certain that some would have been spoilt for choice when it came down selecting the accommodation from a long list of Austria hotels. Furthermore, it is critical to choose a hotel which not only suits our taste but our pockets too! Well, I was in that predicament while planning for my vacation to Austria and fortunately for me, I came across Austria hotels which helped me make my choice. In the capital city of Vienna, there are 3 notable hotels to choose from. There’s the Hotel Imperial (5 stars), Hotel Astoria (4 stars) and Golden Tulip Art Hotel (3 stars). All 3 are strategically located in the city and are within walking distance to the renowned theatres and art centre of Austria. In addition, the Hotel Imperial has won several awards for its excellent hospitality such as being in Conde Nast Traveler’s 2002 Gold List. Anyhow, to those who are interested in Austria hotel reservations in the other Austrian cities like Graz, Innsbruck, Linz, etc can visit Austria hotel reservations .

If Austrian art and culture isn’t your cup of tea or you prefer something more extreme, then you should definitely give winter sports like skiing a try Austria ski holidays have become increasingly popular due to Austria’s beautiful sunny skies and mild temperatures which also promote optimal skiing conditions as the snow base is not too heavy. For skiing enthusiasts, there are several criteria which attract them to a certain ski resort. For example, some may prefer higher accessible vertical (i.e. piste to lowest ski lift) while others may prefer ski resorts which have large skiing areas. However, the Austrian ski resorts can cater to both these groups. For example, the Innsbruck ski resort boasts a maximum accessible vertical of 2620 metres (which is the highest in Austria) and this would definitely appeal to those vertical lovers. And for those who prefer very large ski areas can head on to Amade ski resort which have a staggering 865km skiing area.

All in all, Austria is a wonderful country that caters to all types of tourist, whether you’re an art enthusiast or a ski lover.
